Most organizations deployed on-premises IT equipments, inside their buildings, to store and protect digital data and applications such as R&D workloads. Mainly for financial reasons, companies decided to outsource their commodity systems to virtualized resources placed on external datacenters. Mixing both models, private and public clouds, into a unique hybrid cloud provides new opportunities but also new challenges.
The financial, interoperability, portability and security issues will be covered and reviewed during the discussion. Where are the best practices, methods, metrics and testing tools for
the hybrid cloud?
